Games

I suppose I should start with my first particularly notable usage of this name (unless Utopia or Neopets count). That would probably be FoM. Regarding that, I'll not go into much detail, mainly because I don't want to promote that project. Still, by the little image you can see at the bottom of the page, I was indeed quite involved on the forums for that enterprise. While I retain many graphical elements from that time, and certainly learned a lot during it, I've put the experience itself behind me, for the most part.

Now, if I might move onto matters which I'm more eager to discuss, specifically Puzzle Pirates (Y!PP), then I can begin to elaborate. I initially began playing Y!PP on July 10, 2005, at the behest of my eldest brother. I played in his crew for some time, rising through the ranks and whatnot. After a time, though, I only played Y!PP off and on, because I was still heavily involved in FoM. When I left FoM, in early April, 2006, it was in part through a phasing-in of Y!PP play. There, I took over as captain for my brother's friend's crew after some time, a capacity in which I continue to serve; there's quite a bit more to hear, so there's another page which has more information.

More recently, I've also gotten involved with the alpha, and then the beta, of another Three Rings game, Bang! Howdy, a cowboy-themed tactical strategy sort o' thingy. I even help run a wiki on it: The Howdypedia (we lose a few points for lack of creativity, but it's easier to type than Wiki Wiki, Bang Bang).

The man behind the pirate

Of course, there's plenty more to me than my online persona; I've been told that I'm a human being, too! I even have interests, particularly Latin.
